Art has always been a way of making the invisible visible. The symbolic, the archetypal, the mythical and the spiritual - those are what fascinate me and drive my art. As artists have done for millennia, I seek to communicate and nourish the invisible realms .

I grew up in Portland Oregon in a family that loved to go camping in the Oregon mountain ranges, and visit the windswept beaches of the Pacific Northwest. As an adolescent I spent much of my free time  in the nearby Hoyt Aboredum, 190 acres of trees and hiking trails. I have always felt at home in nature.

At the age of 26 I emigrated to Australia, originally living in Sydney. After I met my partner we moved to northern NSW where we live in a community on 80 acres in the rainforest. I love it. Everyday we are entwined with nature, surrounded by trees and wildlife.
